Non-profit Technology Grants

Net-Ability is honored to announce The Spring 2016 Technology Grant recipients. Due to the large number of those who applied, and the overwhelming need, we are announcing two beneficiaries. Net-Ability is pleased to announce that Wichita Women’s Initiative Network and ICT S.O.S. have been awarded the Net-Ability Spring 2016 Technology Grants.

After consulting with Net-Ability, Wichita Women’s Initiative Network will be using the grant to upgrade and implement an office technology platform that enables them to spend more valuable time with the women and families they serve. WIN offers a supportive environment for women in transition, providing social, educational and general life skills that allow them to regain job security in today’s work force. You can learn more about Wichita Women’s Initiative Network at WIN.

ICT S.O.S. is a project-based organization that acts as a liaison between specific local professional groups who work with trafficked youth and the Wichita volunteers who seek ways to be involved in finding solutions. Their ultimate goal is to end domestic minor sex trafficking in Wichita. ICT S.O.S. will be moving into a new office space this summer and requires technology and tools to enable their mission more effectively. You can learn more about ICT S.O.S. at ICT S.O.S..

Net-Ability would like to thank all the well deserving Wichita area organizations for submitting grant applications. Through the grant process, we have gained a greater appreciation of your commitment to assisting others in need. At Net-Ability, we value the relationships we build with our customers. We strive to provide the highest quality service in an open, honest fashion. Our goal is always to create a positive business outcome for our customers and make technology an asset for your business.

Net-Ability has learned through its experience consulting with several local not-for-profit organizations that technology needs are often underfunded, and as a result technology purchases are often overlooked or delayed due to cost constraints. Net-Ability will consult with WIN and ICT S.O.S. to determine the critical areas of their mission, and recommend technology solutions that can have an immediate impact.

Net-Ability is an advocate and facilitator of the use of technology to further any organization’s mission and purpose. We have become adept at consulting with not-for-profit organizations to maximize dollars spent, automate processes, and enable new capabilities with the maximum return on investment. Rob Whitmer, Net-Ability President adds, “Net-Ability has been very fortunate to work with many businesses throughout the Wichita area. The diverse portfolio of customers that we work with has given us the ability to guide these companies to solutions that are tailor-made for their environments. In the process of awarding these grants, we have met many amazing people and have heard a multitude of stories of humility and sacrifice. These grants have not only been a blessing to the recipients, but to our staff as well”
