Spring 2017 Technology Grant Recipients

Net-Ability is honored to announce The Spring 2017 Technology Grant recipients. Due to the large number of applicants and the overwhelming need, we are announcing two beneficiaries. Net-Ability is pleased to announce that Boys and Girls Clubs of South Central Kansas and Carpenter Place have been awarded the Net-Ability Spring 2017 Technology Grants.

Each recipient will receive a grant of $10,000 for technology purchases. Net-Ability is also donating professional services and expertise to implement new equipment and maximize the impact of these new technologies.

WITH THIS ANNOUNCEMENT, THE NET-ABILITY TECHNOLOGY GRANT PROGRAM HAS REACHED THE MILESTONE OF IMPLEMENTING MORE THAN $70,000 IN TECHNOLOGY RESOURCES TO WICHITA AREA NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS.

After consulting with Net-Ability, Carpenter Place will be using the grant to upgrade and implement an audio visual and office technology platform that enables them to spend more valuable time with the young women and families they serve. Carpenter Place is a faith-based agency providing a Christian home environment for girls who may be struggling with a variety of issues. Since 1943, they have provided children and families in crisis with the support, structure, and skills necessary to overcome challenging life situations. You can learn more about Carpenter Place at www.carpenterplace.org.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Kansas provides safe, quality, educational, and enriching after-school programs for children ages kindergarten through 12th grade. Their after-school programs are designed to benefit the academic, social, physical, and emotional development of the children. Net-Ability plans to implement communication and network systems that will improve the flow of information for staff, volunteers and parents. You can learn more about Boys and Girls Club at www.begreatwichita.org.

Net-Ability would like to thank all the well deserving Wichita area organizations for submitting grant applications. Through the grant process, we continue to gain a greater appreciation of your commitment to assisting others in need. At Net-Ability, we value the relationships we build with our customers. We strive to provide the highest quality service in an open, honest fashion. Our goal is always to create a positive business outcome for our customers and make technology an asset for your business.

Net-Ability has learned through its experience consulting with several local not-for-profit organizations that technology needs are often underfunded. As a result, technology purchases are often overlooked or delayed due to cost constraints. Net-Ability will consult with Carpenter Place and Boys & Girls Clubs to determine the critical areas of their mission and recommend technology solutions that can have an immediate impact.
