Accepting Spring 2018 Technology Grant Applications

Net-Ability is pleased to announce the Spring 2018 Net-Ability Technology Grant. The purpose of this grant is to allow an area 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization to expand or enhance their existing technology through the purchase of new platforms, which will aid the organizations' operations.  By completing the application, qualifying organizations will have an opportunity to be selected as a technology grant recipient. It is our goal to provide funds to charitable organizations in the area of technology, an area often overlooked by many donating entities. It is Net-Ability's intent to consult with the grant recipient on current business processes and systems in place today.  After reviewing the current infrastructure, Net-Ability will review and recommend technologies to improve and protect those systems.  The Technology Grant amount is $10,000, with an additional donation of ten Net-Ability Professional Services hours.

Net-Ability has learned through its experience consulting with several local not-for-profit organizations that technology needs are often underfunded.  Technology purchases are often overlooked or delayed due to cost constraints. Kidzcope, the Fall 2015 Technology Grant recipient was in a too similar situation with aging technology assets and manual processes.  Net-Ability consulted with Kidzcope to determine the critical areas of their mission and recommend technology solutions that have had an immediate impact to facilitate their mission.  Julie Prater, Kidzcope Executive Director adds “We are so incredibly grateful to have been chosen as the recipient of the 2015 Fall Net-Ability Technology grant. This grant will allow us to upgrade our current hardware and software and allow us to become more efficient in our day-to-day operations.”

Previous Grant Recipients include: KidzCope, ICT SOS, Wichita Women’s Initiative Network, Down Syndrome Society of Wichita, Boys and Girls Club, Carpenter Place, and Dress for Success
